Hi, my name is Dayna! I have been on my fitness and health journey for about 6 years now. I am originally from Minnesota. When I first started, I worked out on my own at a typical overcrowded gym that cost me $10 a month. I’ve started… I’ve stopped. I’ve started I’ve stopped. I was not consistent with going and had no idea what to do at the gym so I decided to invest in a personal trainer.
I stayed with that personal trainer for over a year and did extremely well. In 2018, my Dad passed away of cancer and I completely lost myself. I let myself go. Being healthy and taking care of myself wasn’t a priority for me anymore. I let stress and certain life events take over my life. I ended up having a complete setback. After my Dad passed I moved to Texas.
I knew it was time to get back on my fitness and health journey not just for my physical health but for my mental health too. It was time to make a change. I found a gym down the street from Future Fitness Training. I worked out there for about two years and loved it. Due to unfortunate events, the gym had to close about a year ago. At this time, I was searching for another gym while trying to not let myself lose track of my goals. I reached out to Future Fitness and met with Trey. The second I walked into the gym I knew I was going to sign up. It was extremely clean, and air-conditioned, everyone was welcoming and friendly, and it was close to home. I am proud to say that my whole lifestyle has changed. Eating well and working out have become a complete priority for me.
This journey hasn’t been easy by any means. Not in the slightest… many setbacks along the way. It is important to continue to keep moving forward, stay motivated, and most importantly… stay consistent. Since I started working out at Future Fitness, I have reached a weight that I haven’t been in years and am getting mentally and physically stronger every day.
