I started my fitness journey needing to lose some significant weight. I was 278 pounds and dangerously close to diabetes. I began with nutrition in September 2016, by November 2016 I reduced my weight to 234 pounds. Mid-November was a decision point for resistance training to shore up some underdeveloped musculature.
